Pilotage

  • Standard charge a Minimum of HKD 4,400 plus:
    • For ships having a gross registered tonnage of less than 30,000 tons. $0.065 per ton of the ship’s gross registered tonnage
    • For ship having a gross registered tonnage of or above 30,000 tons but not exceeding 60,000 tons, $0.0625 per ton of the ship’s gross registered tonnage or $1,950, whichever is the greater
  • Pilot is required to board or disembark the ship off Ngan Chau at the west of Lamma Island: HKD 1,900
  • Pilot is required to board or disembarked the ship west of a straight line drawn from Pearl Island to East brother island: HKD 2600
  • Pilot is required to board or disembark the ship north of a straight line drawn from Black Point to Lung Kwu Chau Light: HKD 1,250
  •  While a pilot is detained: HKD 1,200 per half an hour or part thereof for the first hour, HKD 1,200 for the second hour or part thereof, and HKD 1,200 per hour or part thereof for any further period of detention
  • Service provided on notice of less than 3 hours: 50% overall of the standard pilotage dues
  •  Pilot is required to board a ship or disembark a ship at Tolo Harbour: HKD 3,500
  • Cancellation or alteration of engagement
    • HKD 4,400 if engagement cancelled within 1.5 hour of the last stated time of requirement for pilotage service at Tolo Harbour or at the west of East Brother Island
    • HKD 4,400 if engagement cancelled within 1 hour of the last stated time of requirement elsewhere
    • HKD 300 if engagement altered within 2 to 3 hours of the last stated time of requirement

Light Due

  1. All vessels plying exclusively within the river-trade limits (per 100 tons or part thereof on each occasion of entry)
  2. All other vessels (per 100 tons or part thereof on each occasion of entry

Mooring & Unmooring Charges

  1. Mooring / Unmooring services at Wharves For each hour or part thereof: HKD907
  2. The above rates are subject to a surcharge of 75% for services rendered between 1800 hours and 0800 hours
  3. If a notice of cancellation is given less than 1.5 hours before the appointed time, a minimum of 1 hour will be charged for the standby service
  4. When a local storm signal No.3 or higher or strong Monsoon signal is hoisted, a surcharge of 50% will be imposed

Tuggage

a) Service charge Rate:
  • 3200BHP HKD 4,400 (First hour or part thereof)
  • 4000BHP HKD6,240 same as above
  • 5000BHP HKD7,200 same as above
  • Use of tug’s towrope fee: HKD 210

b) Condition terms
  • The service charge is calculated from the time when the tug departs from base until it return to the base on completion of the services. Such charge also applies to the   use of tug “STANDING BY” or “IDLING”
  • The rate for normal towage are subject to surcharge of 50% for services performed between the hours of 6 p.m. and 10 p.m., 100% between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m., 100% on Sundays and Public Holiday
  • During typhoons, a 100% surcharge shall apply to towage services upon hoisting of No.3 or higher typhoon signals.
  • The Service Charge does not apply to services when any portion of which is outside Harbour Limits (as delineated on Hong Kong Harbour Facilities & Layout ISBN: 978-962-8207-45-9, Jan 2008 Edition), as a surcharge of 25% shall apply throughout.
  • In the event of emergency or special services being provided, a surcharge of 100% shall apply throughout. Emergency services are defined as services for which the time interval between initial booking and tug’s departure from base is less than one hour. Special services are defined as services other than those outlined above
  • This standard Tariff does not apply to Salvage operations or any operation outside HongKong Water.
  • Bunker Surcharge is presently (as at 15/03/2014) HKD2,720 per tug per hour. Further adjustments shall be made in accordance with official notice

Agency fee

  • Acting as Charterer’s agents where Owners appointed their own protection agents or appointed their own protection agents consigned to Charterer’s agents: USD2,730
  • Acting as Owner’s agents when already handling vessel on behalf of Charterers in addition to fee in above: USD 1,323
  • Additional fee for arranging the shifting of vessel for further cargo operations : USD 320
  • Vessel calling only for bunkering, stores, crew change, switch document (port clearance), etc USD 2,000
  • Vessel staying in port over one week; additional fee per week or part week thereafter USD 860
  •  Handling fee for attending to joining, transfer and/or repatriation of crew members per group   
     FIRST 6 Crew Member, Each USD 140
    7TH and over   Crew member, Each USD130
